MEGHALAYA

Day 01:  Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Shillong (100km/4hrs): 
The beautiful Meghalaya tour will begin with us picking you up at the Guwahati Airport. Then we will straight head towards the enchanting hill station, Shillong. We will stop at the Umiam Lake in the route to enjoy the beauty of the beautiful lake, and then after reaching the destination we will stay for the night at Shillong. If we have enough time, we can go out on sightseeing of Shillong. It has beautiful lakes, mesmerizing waterfalls and breathtaking hill tops. The notable sightseeing places are Wards Lake, Elephant falls, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco museum etc. Our stay will be at Shillong.

 

Day 2: Shillong Sightseeing to Cherapunji (80km/8hrs)
Next day, we will go for sightseeing of the whole city. Shillong, popularly known as the �Scotland of East� is famous for its beautiful weather and picturesque sceneries. The drizzling rains will give you the feeling of Scotland. We will complete the remaining point if any and will head to cheerapunji. Stay in Cheerapunji.

Day 3: Cherrapunji Sightseeing (60km/7hrs)
The next day, we will start our sightseeing of Cherrapunji. Cherrapunji does not need any introduction, as we all know it is the wettest place on Earth. So, if you are here on summer, then get ready to witness nonstop showers in this beautiful place. Moreover, the places of sightseeing in Cherrapunji are amazing. It also has a living root bridge, Mawsmai caves, the Seven Sister waterfalls and the Nohkalikai waterfalls to check out. The night�s stay will be at Cherrapunji.

 

Day4: Cheerapunji to Mawlynnong & Dawki Sightseeing, Stay in Camps (dome tents) at Shnopdeng.
Next morning, we will start towards Mawlynnong � the cleanest village in Asia. Mawlynnong also has a living root bridge. After visiting Mawlynnong, we will go to Dawki � a border town in India � Bangladesh border. Dawki is famous for Umngot River and Dawki Bridge. There is also a facility for boating on the river. We will stay there in dome tents.

Day 5: Cherrapunji to Guwahati, Airport Drop (190km/6hrs) 
Next morning, we will head towards Guwahati for dropping you at the airport. After around 6 hours drive. Please book your flights after 5 pm.

4. Cost Escalation due to natural reason/strike/taxi-Bike Union Issues/Anti social unrest (Riders need to bear their expenses of the day in such cases)

5. Anything which is not mentioned in inclusions

TRIP COST (5% gst extra)

Cost is based on number of people, number of days and category of hotels selected by the client

PAYMENT POLICY:
1. 30% of the Total Billing Amount to be deposited as the booking amount at the time of the booking.
2. Remainder 70% of the Total Billing Amount to be deposited before 30 days of the departure date.
3. Failure to adhere to the Payment Policy can lead to a cancellation of the booking without any prior notice to the booking person

CANCELLATION POLICY:
1. 20% cancellation fee would be levied/ forfeited if the cancellation is done 30 days prior the Day 1 of the trip.
2. 100% cancellation fee would be levied/ forfeited if the cancellation is done less than 30 days prior the Day 1 of the trip.
3. Fail to do the 30% amount within a month of the booking or 3 months prior to the travel date, whichever is sooner, the booking will stand cancelled without any prior intimation, and the amount received by the company will be forfeited with no refund.
